Art, and photography in particular, got me through some of my darkest days when I was on intense chemo before, during, and after my bone marrow transplant. My desire to explore (and photograph) parts of the world I had put off visiting, that I was at risk of never seeing, helped me stay hopeful and see a way out of the leukemia.

The mission of One Hundred Bison is to give hope to cancer patients and their families through fine art.
